William Talbert III heads the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, the official destination marketing organization for Greater Miami and the Beaches whose mission is to attract, encourage and induce all persons and organizations to visit the area for conventions, business and pleasure. A private, not-for-profit entity, the GMCVB is a private-public partnership with more than 1,000 private business members and four local governments: Miami-Dade, City of Miami Beach, City of Miami and the Village of Bal Harbour.
