ECUADOR’S TOP BUSINESSWOMAN, ISABEL NOBOA PONTON, HOLDS INVESTMENT CONFERENCE IN MIAMI
The Miami-chapter of the Ecuatorian American Chamber of Commerce hosted an animated cocktail and conference at The Four Seasons Hotel on Brickell Avenue to introduce the South American nation’s leading businesswoman, Isabel Noboa Pontón, to a group of South Florida entrepreneurs and investors. Doña Isabel, as she is respectfully known, heads Consorcio Nobis, a dynamic holding company that owns numerous real estate, healthcare, hospitality and manufacturing enterprises, has over 10,000 employees and generated $500 million in annual sales in 2010.
During the event, Mrs. Noboa Pontón described the investment opportunities available in her native country, presented a video of her company’s enterprises, and answered attendees’ questions regarding Ecuador’s business climate and how foreign venture capital would find a welcoming and safe atmosphere in that nation.
