Wellness: Dr. G’s Weight Loss Now In Hialeah

RENOWNED WEIGHT LOSS & WELLNESS CENTER HELPS RESIDENTS SHED UNWANTED, UNHEALTHY POUNDS SAFELY AND EFFECTIVELY

Dr. G’s Weight Loss & Wellness of Hialeah, part of the fastest growing weight loss program in America, hosted the grand opening of its center at 681West 49th Street with an afternoon of music, impromptu demonstrations, prizes and giveaways, light bites and refreshments. Guests were treated to special appearances by television personality Karent Sierra, Tito Puente Jr., and Latin Grammy Winner Jorge Moreno.

Most importantly, however, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about Dr. G’s comprehensive medical weight loss and wellness program, which has helped over 70,000 people shed more than 1 million unwanted pounds quickly and safely. The physician-supervised medical weight loss plan, which is customized to each client’s needs, uses its proprietary software and a full medical evaluation including blood work, EKG, metabolic rate, body composition, and behavioral history to promote effective and sustained weight loss by curbing the patient’s appetite and increasing his/her metabolism

Studies conducted by the U.S. Centers For Disease Control (CDC) indicate that about one-third of U.S. adults (33.8%) are officially obese.

Established in 1994 by Dr. Charles Goldsmith, Dr. G’s Weight Loss & Wellness program incorporates:

  • A comprehensive medical evaluation
  • FDA approved medications
  • Proprietary blend of natural herbal supplements and vitamins
  • Individualized “real food” meal plans and exercise regimen
  • A custom post treatment maintenance program

Throughout the program, patients are trained on how to activate certain weight loss tools and “tricks” in order to achieve their goals, maximize results and stay on track once they complete the plan.

Because obesity is such a dramatic, prevalent and growing health concern in the United States, Dr. G’s Weight Loss & Wellness places a great emphasis on the educational and wellness aspects of its weight loss plan. A client who successfully completesd Dr. G’s program not only improved his/her physical appearance, but also his/her physical condition. Returning to a normal, healthy weight allows a patient’s body to renew itself, function more efficiently and reduce the risk of developing serious, life-threatening illnesses.

Individuals classified as “overweight” or “obese” have increased risks for conditions such as coronary heart disease; type 2 diabetes; endometrial, breast, and colon cancers; hypertension (high blood pressure); stroke; liver and gallbladder disease; sleep apnea and respiratory problems; osteoarthritis; gynecological problems; and dyslipidemia (high total cholesterol or high levels of triglycerides).

The grand opening event featured two very special ceremonies in honor of the tenth anniversary of 9/11: Photographer Marilyn Scavo unveiled her South Florida Fire Station exhibit and donated a commemorative piece to the Hialeah Fire Department in appreciation for the sacrifices they make every day, and Dr.G’s Weightloss & Wellness of Hialeah presented a charitable contribution to the Hialeah Fireman’s Benevolent Association.

Also in attendance were representatives from the celebration’s sponsors: Santos Sangria, Choco Noir Chocolate Wine, Party City, PBMS Photography & Design, and the Hialeah Chamber of Commerce.
